Today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 01 August episode starts with Naira (Shivangi Joshi) explaining Pallavi that she couldn’t take care of Kairav well and that was why he was facing this illness. She wanted her son to get fine post the surgery. She gave her consent for Kairav’s surgery. Pallavi told her that it was not her mistake that she had been blaming herself for Kairav’s condition. She assured Naira that she would do her best and save Kairav’s life. She told Naira that the chances were just half in such cases, but her blessings would work for Kairav. Kartik (Mohsin Khan) felt that someone dear to his heart was in pain. He got restless. Suwarna calmed his fears. She told him that he might be feeling restless due to his sudden engagement with Vedika. Kartik can’t explain his weird feeling of tension. She asked him not to over think and take rest. Naira found herself getting the medical treatment, since she fainted by tension. She recalled the day when Kairav was born. She got too emotional.
Kartik went for a walk. He happened to see a sick boy. He got worried for Kairav on seeing that boy. He didn’t know why he was feeling so restless and longing for Kairav. Naira got upset that the fate wasn’t doing justice with her. She wanted to be strong and fight with the fate. She didn’t wish Kairav to suffer. She prayed for her son. She didn’t want to tell the truth to Kartik. She thought it was too late and now it was better that Kartik moved on with Vedika. She didn’t want to trouble Kartik. She went to Kairav and other kids in the children ward. She could fight anything for the sake of her son. Kairav told Naira that the kids had become his friends. She told him that the kids must face their fears strongly so that they got back home soon. Dadi missed Kairav and told Manish that he really liked Kairav. Kartik missed his engagement ring. Vedika noticed this and thought Kartik wasn’t happy. Kartik tried to brainstorm and know who the person was related to him facing troubles. He turned too anxious and isolated himself in the room.
Naira enjoyed with Kairav and kids. She cheered the kids in a clown avatar. Kairav felt dizzy and exhausted after dancing a bit. Naira got sorrowful watching him. She wanted to get back to Goa and get the surgery done. Pallavi told Naira that Kairav had to undergo the surgery right away; he won’t be able to travel. She asked Naira to convince the best surgeon for the surgery. She hoped that the surgeon may agree after studying Kairav’s case. Naira and Kartik reached the temple for the prayers.
