In today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, the counselor tells Akshara to rethink her decision as Abhimanyu intentionally is not coming inside if they both came together. She continues to say that maybe he doesn’t want to get a divorce. Akshara says that they have decided and they want to get separated. The counselor tells her that she is speaking from her 20 years of experience and she tells Akshara to take another date as she can’t wait for Abhimanyu any longer. Manish and Harsh are sitting opposite each other and Harsh asks Manish if he is fine with what is happening. Manish says he doesn’t want to talk to him. Harsh says that he even doesn’t want to but for their children’s good, they need to come together and stop them from getting a divorce as it’s really difficult. Manish says that they are capable of seeing what is good and bad for Akshara and blames Abhimanyu for not understanding Akshara and instead blaming her for hiding Kairav in the Maldives.
Then in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Akshara comes out and looks for Abhimanyu. She notices him standing near a pole and sleeping. She thinks that maybe he must have been busy in the hospital the whole night and not slept properly so he must have slept here. Akshara tries to wake him up and he is about to fall but Akshara holds him close and he wakes up and holds Akshara tightly. Then they stand separately and Akshara tells Abhimanyu why he slept with her. He says that he did not sleep, he was tired so he closed his eyes. She tells him that the counselor thought that he didn’t want a divorce. He tells her that there is nothing like this and he tells her that they will go inside now. Akshara tells him that they can’t go inside now as the date has gone and they need to take a second date for filing a divorce. Abhimanyu and Akshara get frustrated and they both go away.
Lastly in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhimanyu finds Akshara’s earring fallen and he decides not to pick it up but then he picks it up. Akshara comes home with Manish and everyone asks her what happened. Manish tells them that Abhimanyu slept and did that to attend the counseling and now they have to take a second date. Akshara tells everyone that she is fine and tells Kairav that she wants tea. Kairav brings her tea. Vansh receives a call from a composer where he shares Akshara’s song clips. The composer calls Akshara a fray and cheater for stealing Maya’s voice and naming it hers. Akshara gets shattered thinking that her identity has vanished. Everyone motivates her and she decides to regain her identity by disclosing the truth. She checks online for singing opportunities. She checks vacancies in Birla hospital and also finds an opportunity to sing live at a dandiya event.
