Today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 17 April episode begins with Naira (Shivangi Joshi) waiting for Mansi and Anmol while Suhasini (Swati Chitnis) in the meantime is asking Naira to start the celebrations. Naira and Kartik (Mohsin Khan) start the ceremony.
Naira sees Puru (Rituraj Singh) trying to misbehave with a girl. She comes and stops him. Naira and Kartik dance to set the mood of the party. Naira takes Mansi’s phone from Luv and Kush. She sends a threatening message to Puru. Puru acts cool and reverts to her in a casual manner. Puru then calls Mansi but instead Naira answers the call disguised as Mansi. Puru rebukes Mansi for revealing the truth. He tries to blackmail Mansi by compelling her to keep her mouth shut or else her in-laws will blame her. Naira counters Mansi for hiding the truth. She says she will not spare him and she then encourages Mansi to expose Puru.
Mansi feels resistant. Naira states that she will tell everything to Kartik. Suhasini comes and asks Mansi to go inside. Naira lies to Suhasini. Suhasini questions her for troubling her brother. She adds that she knows Mansi’s secret. Suhasini says that Mansi must have misunderstood Puru. Naira counters her for not supporting Puru. Suhasini says that she will not go against Puru as he has helped her a lot. She asks Naira to keep quiet but Naira refuses to do so.
