In today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Manjiri tells Akshara and Abhimanyu to dance together. They both stand awkwardly. They see their soul dancing and sharing their love for each other. They both then dance together for Manjiri. As the moon comes, Mahima performs the Karwa Chauth ritual. At Goenka’s house, Suvarna completes the Karwa Chauth ritual with Manish. Manish gives Suvarna a present and tells her that he will not wait for dinner as he is going to Jaipur to meet Akshara. Suhasini tries to stop him and tells him to go tomorrow morning as today is a festival day. Manish says that he can’t wait and he will feel restless till he meets Akshara. He tells Vansh to come along with him. Arohi comes there and tells Manish to stop. Arohi tells Manish that to meet Akshara they don’t need to go to Jaipur. At the Birlas, Parth and Shefali perform the Karwa Chauth ritual. And then Manjiri tells Akshara and Abhimanyu to go and complete the ritual and break the fast.
Then in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Akshara and Abhimanyu go near the window and they ask each why they are doing this when they don’t want their relationship to last long. Why are they praying for togetherness, when they don’t want to be together? Abhimanyu tells Akshara that he is confused and doesn’t know what God really wants for both of them. They both then see the moon and then see each other. They both recall last year’s Karwa Chauth which they celebrated together. They feed water to each other. Manjiri gets emotional and says that the festival is just a reason and she is happy that Akshara brought Abhimanyu back into her life. Nishta tells them both to eat food as both of them are on a fast since morning. Manjiri feels like vomiting, so she tells Nishta to take her to the side. Abhimanyu and Akshara feed sweet to each other. Manish comes there and calls out to Akshara.
Lastly in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Manish tells Akshara to come along with him as Suhasini has told everything to him, and now Manjiri is not here so he wants her to come home along with her before Manjiri returns back as he doesn’t want any drama in front of Manjiri. Akshara tells Manish to let her stay back till Manjiri’s health recovers and then she will come and apologize to him. Manish tells her to come home and then they will decide. Manjiri comes there and sees Manish holding Akshara’s hand and taking her away. Manjiri asks Akshara where she is going and when Manish came here. No one speaks. She requests them to tell her what’s happening. Mahima says that it’s time, to tell the truth. She tells Manjiri that when she was in the hospital, Akshara and Abhimanyu had already ended their relationship and now they are pretending to be husband and wife to make Manjiri feel better. Manjiri gets shocked and tells Manish to leave Akshara for 5 minutes as she wants to talk to them. Manjiri takes both aside and asks what is the truth. They both tell her that Mahima was right and they are getting divorced.
