Today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 24 May episode starts with Suhasini (Swati Chitnis) telling Naira (Shivangi Joshi) that a child will bring happiness to her and Kartik’s lives and she should start thinking about family planning. Meanwhile Kartik (Mohsin Khan) approaches Naira and says he is sorry for his rude behavior and asks her out to a romantic date night. They both dress up and come downstairs but their moment is interrupted when they see Mihir in the house.
Kartik thanks Mihir and all family members praise him as well. Mihir totally credits Naira and that gets Kartik jealous. He steps out of the room and when Samarth approaches him, Kartik curses Mihir and says that Mihir might have feelings for Naira and he is doing all of this to simply impress her.
Just then a stranger walks into the Goenka house and Mihir delightfully introduces her as Mitali, his girlfriend. Hearing this, Kartik is relieved and Mitali even tells Naira that Mihir is always praising her. Kartik then dresses up as a driver to Naira and requests for her time. They spend quality time on their way to the office.
Naira enters the office and Kartik waits outside, where he gets angry to hear all the drivers talking ill about Mihir and Naira’s bond. Mitali walks up to Kartik and says even she has doubts on their relation and that Mihir has begun to change a lot ever since Naira has come in to his life but Kartik refuses to believe any of that.
