Today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 30 July episode starts with Vansh enquiring Kartik (Mohsin Khan) if Kairav was his son, if Kairav was saying the truth. Kartik told Vansh that Kairav wasn’t his son; Kairav was unaware of the truth. He made Vansh promise that he won’t tell this truth to Kairav. Naira’s (Shivangi Joshi) friend wanted to take Kairav with him. Kairav doesn’t want to go. Kartik told her that Kairav would go only when his mum came. Kairav asked Kartik if he had made his mum upset that she didn’t want to meet him.
Gayu and Vedika came home and met Kairav. Vedika realized that Kairav was the boy who assumed Kartik as his dad. She met him happily and told him that he could stay with them. Vedika bonded with him. Naira worried that the family wasn’t sending Kairav. Vedika and Kartik took care of Kairav and fed him food. Dadi asked them to get ready for the engagement. Kairav asked Kartik whose engagement was happening. Kartik told him that it was just a small get together where the family members sing and dance. Kairav wanted to see the engagement too. He got excited. Kartik wanted Kairav’s mum to come soon. Manish and Samarth told Kartik that Kairav’s mum could complain against them if they kept the kid for long. Dadi liked Kairav’s cuteness. Kairav asked Dadi to have food with him.
Dadi got emotional. She missed Naira when Kairav asked for kachori. Kairav talked like Naira and reminded the family of Naira. Kartik and Kairav spent time happily. Naira’s friend was happy seeing them happy. She asked Naira to come inside the house and let Kairav stay with his dad. Vedika promised to keep Kartik happy. She wanted to make sure that Kartik didn’t feel suffocated in their relation. Kartik talked like Kairav and Kairav talked like Kartik. This coincidence amazed Kartik and Vedika. Vedika told them that they really looked like father and son.
Kairav told Kartik that his mum was also very pretty. Kartik reminisced Naira and told him that Naira was really pretty. Naira’s friend told Kartik that Kairav’s mum had met with an accident, she couldn’t come to pick Kairav, but they had to leave fast. Kartik convinced Kairav to go to his mum. Kairav prayed that his mum and dad united soon. He wished that he got back in the loving family. Naira’s friend took him to the hospital.
