The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Sirat asking Nani if her character is bad. Nani tells Sirat her intentions are clear, she has a good heart, her character can’t be bad. Nani says she doesn’t have to answer anyone, the society even questioned Devi like Sita. Nani says her fate is bad not her character. Sirat tells Nani she won’t let anyone complain and be a good wife to Ranvir. Nani says she is with her always. She tells Sirat to be a good bahu if she wants to be a good wife. Dadi and everyone discuss Manish and Suwarna’s marriage anniversary. Gayu says they should be made to do jaimala and pheras again. Suwarna says it will be too much however Manish agrees to go with it. Kartik says they will get them married again.
Suwarna asks them to invite Sirat and Ranvir as well. Kartik says Ranvir is not well so they won’t come. Suwarna insists, Kairav tells him to call Sirat now. Kartik calls Sirat hoping she doesn’t answer, Sirat is on a call with someone else. Kartik says she isn’t answering he will message her later. Mehta calls Kartik saying Sirat needs to be at the event or his company may lose reputation. Kartik wonders how he can make Sirat attend the event. Ranvir sees his favourite dish and thanks Saroj. Saroj tells him to thank Sirat as she made it and all the other dishes. He thanks Sirat and she starts serving food. Chauhan says his hands should be washed first. Ranvir calls servants but they have left so Sirat gives a bowl to Chauhan to wash his hands.
Chauhan later asks Sirat why is she pretending to be a good bahu. He tells her that she is a cheat. Sirat says that she did a mistake but now she wants to be a good life partner to Ranvir. The servant tells Sirat that Kartik is calling her repeatedly. Chauhan makes her answer the call on speaker. Kairav tells Sirat that he was trying to call her for a long time. He says that everyone has friends like her and papa only doesn’t have a friend. Sirat says he will find one soon. Kairav says he had a friend but she fought with him. Sirat tells him to find out why she fought. She tells him to find the reason and give her a chance.
Mehta tells Kartik to bring Sirat anyhow to the event. He tells him to talk to big personalities or politicians like Chauhan. Manish says they won’t take Chauhan’s help, he tells Kartik he should have thought about it before. Kartik tells him Sirat is helpless. Manish tells him to not mix personal and professional things. Kartik says it’s genuine problem. Chauhan tells Sirat she is fooling everyone. Sirat tells him she can’t change his thinking. She is trying to be a good wife to Ranvir she asks him to forget everything and start again for the sake of Ranvir. Chauhan says the day his son will start trusting him it will be her last day in the house.
They both look at the door thinking about who heard their conversation.
