The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kairav takings Kartik’s handprints. Kartik asks why he is taking the handprints. Kairav says he made a gift for Sirat in which he has included their family photo and everyone’s handprints. Kairav says when Sirat will miss them, she can see his gift. Kartik says today Sirat will leave them forever after her wedding. Kairav says Sirat said that she will come to meet him whenever he will miss her. Kairav leaves. Suwarna comes to Kartik and says that Sirat has promised Kairav that she will come to meet him but after marriage, her responsibilities will increase and she will have to give her most of the time to Ranvir and his family.
Sirat hears the conversation and cries. Kairav comes to her and asks if she remembers her promise. Sirat says she will give her life but will not break the promise. She also says that she will do everything possible to make Kairav happy.
Mr Chauhan sees Nidhi and his wife talking about Ranvir’s marriage. He smiles and asks his wife and Nidhi to attend Ranvir’s wedding. Ranvir’s mother asks Mr. Chauhan to come with them. Mr. Chauhan says Ranvir is no more his son. Ranvir’s mother and Nidhi get happy and get ready to go to Ranvir’s wedding. Mr. Chauhan thinks everyone will attend the wedding, but the bride will be missing and gives an evil smile.
Sirat tells Kartik that she is getting nervous. Kartik asks Sirat just to focus on her marriage and nothing else. Sirat asks Kartik to keep his phone on charge so that she can call him whenever she wants. Kartik and Sirat see Nidhi and Ranvir’s mother. They get Ranvir to them. Ranvir’s mother hugs Ranvir and apologizes to him. She says that she could not support Ranvir. She blesses Ranvir and Sirat. She tells Sirat that she will give all the love to Sirat which she did not get from her mother.
Later, Ranvir and Sirat get ready for their wedding. She tries to send a selfie to Ranvir, but there is no network. She comes out of her room and the power gets cut. Sirat sees someone coming and asks who is it. Kartik comes near Sirat and compliments her. Even Sirat compliments Kartik. Kartik tells Sirat that it’s her day and she will be happy. They look at each other. Kartik sees a thread stock on Sirat’s lehenga. He takes out the thread while Sirat looks at him.
