The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Sirat dreaming about Kartik. She wakes up and takes Kartik’s name. Kairav calls her through Kartik’s phone. Sirat answers the call and asks if everything is okay. Kairav says Kartik is not okay and asks Sirat to come over. Sirat is about to leave when Ranvir asks her where she is going. Sirat says Kartik is not well and she has to go. Ranvir says he will take Sirat to the hotel. They both change and leave. They come to Kartik’s room and ring the bell. Kartik comes out and gets shocked. Kartik asks Sirat what she is doing there. Nani and other family members come out and ask if everything is okay.
Sirat says Kairav called her and informed them that Kartik is not well, so she came back. Kartik says he is just having a headache. Kairav says Kartik was unable to sleep and when they lost Naira, that time also Kartik was unable to sleep. Kartik tells Kairav that the situation is different and asks him to not call Sirat at midnight. Kartik and Kairav apologise to Sirat. Sirat says Kairav can call her whenever he wants and no one should stop her. Sirat asks everyone to sleep. Suwarna asks Sirat to return home and take some rest. Gayu learns that their ancestor’s necklace is missing. Suwarna says they will search again in the morning.
The next day, Sirat is punching in the air. Nani calls her and asks her to get ready and come for the Pagphere rasam. Sirat sees a necklace and thinks who can give her such an expensive necklace. Ranvir comes and gives her a rose. He asks about the necklace. Sirat says it’s a very expensive necklace and she will return it to Suwarna. Ranvir says Kartik’s family gave her a gift with love, so she should respect them and wear the necklace for the Pagphere rasam.
Nidhi video calls Ranvir. Saroj blesses Ranvir and Sirat. She says that she is happy with their wedding but upset as she cannot get them home. Mr Chauhan hears their conversation. He says that he will leave the house and then Saroj can get Ranvir home. Saroj says that she cannot live without Mr. Chauhan, makes a promise that she will never talk to Ranvir and Sirat.
Sirat and Ranvir come to the hotel. Suwarna and Gayu get shocked to see their ancestor’s necklace with Sirat. Surekha says Sirat must have stolen the necklace. Suwarna says the necklace must have gone in Sirat’s bag by mistake. Kartik comes there and notices the necklace. He goes to Suwarna and asks her not to take the necklace back. Kairav says he put the necklace in Sirat’s bag. Kartik says their necklace will be a gift to Sirat. Sirat hears their conversation.
Sirat tells Ranvir about it. Ranvir says they should return the necklace. He gets a call so he goes out. Kartik comes to Sirat. Sirat returns the necklace and says she knows that Kairav mistakenly kept the necklace in her bag. Kartik tells Sirat that it’s their gift and she should not return. Kartik makes Sirat wear the necklace. Ranvir sees that and thinks she asked Sirat to return the necklace, then why she did not.
