The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Sirat thinking that she is ready to fight with Mr. Chauhan as a daughter-in-law. Ranvir comes to Sirat and asks if she is happy. Sirat says that she has to stay with a person who separated them for 2 years and tried to stop their wedding. Ranvir says they have come to take care of Saroj and should focus on that. Ranvir says once Saroj recovers they will return to their house. Ranvir makes Sirat smile and takes a selfie with her. He sends the pictures to Kartik and asks him to show them to Nani. Kartik shows the pictures to Nani. Sirat video calls Kartik. Kartik asks Sirat how is she feeling at her Sasural.
Sirat asks Kartik when he will get his bride. Kartik tells Sirat that he cannot hear anything as there is a network problem. Sirat says she did not forget anything and will soon find someone for Kartik. Kartik continues his acting and disconnects the call. Sirat starts making Kartik’s profile.
She imagines Kartik sitting with her. She guesses all the things right about Kartik. She says that Kartik is her friend and she knows him more than anyone. Ranvir comes there and says that Sirat knows Kartik more than anyone. Sirat realizes she was imagining Kartik around her. Sirat makes the profile and searches for some girls. She rejects all the girls. Ranvir says Sirat is rejecting all the girls as if she doesn’t want Kartik to get married.
Later, Sirat calls Kartik and asks him to come to some restaurant. Sirat meets Shreya. She asks Shreya what she liked in Kartik. Shreya says Kartik has a very cute smile and even his kids are cute. Sirat tells Shreya that Kartik cannot come and they can meet some other time. Suwarna calls Sirat and asks what happened. Sirat says she did not like the girl as she was being very sweet. Suwarna asks Sirat to call Shreya to the hotel so that they can meet her. Sirat agrees.
Ranvir gets rasgulla for Sirat and surprises her. Sirat says she likes sweets but cannot eat them. She argues with Ranvir. Ranvir asks Sirat what she wants. Sirat says that she doesn’t know what she wants. Ranvir gifts a gown to Sirat. Sirat says she wore the same gown on her birthday. Sirat tells Ranvir the story where the hotel people thought that Sirat is Naira. Sirat says Kartik misses Naira and hopes he moves on.
