The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik calling Sirat. Sirat worries and doesn’t answer the call. Later, she thinks she should have answered the call. Kartik calls her again. Sirat answers the call. Kartik says he knows Sirat is busy and is about to board, but he wants to talk for 2 minutes. Siray says she needs to check in her luggage and she will call him later. She disconnects the call. Sirat then thinks about why she had to lie to Kartik. Sirat gets angry. Ranvir comes and asks what happened. Sirat keeps on thinking something. Ranvir tries to joke, but Sirat still keeps thinking. Ranvir asks Sirat if she is upset as they did not go for a honeymoon. Ranvir says Saroj is not well and they can go some other time. Sirat says Saroj’s health is more important. Ranvir says he is lucky to have a wife like Sirat.
Nani calls Sirat. Sirat doesn’t answer the call thinking that she lied to Kartik and he will be around Nani. Nani worries and calls Nidhi. Kartik tells Manish that Sirat did not answer his call, she is busy as they are going for a honeymoon. Nani comes there and says Saroj is not well, so Sirat and Ranvir did not go. Kartik says he will go to meet Ranvir and Sirat and talk about the idea.
Later, Sirat is talking to Nidhi. The doorbell rings. Sirat gets shocked to see Kartik. Kartik asks Sirat about Saroj. Sirat says Saroj is fine. Ranvir comes there. Kartik says they had to return home from the airport. Ranvir says they did not go to the airport. Kartik looks at Sirat and thinks why Sirat lied to him.
Sirat says she will make tea and goes into her room. Kartik says he wants to talk to Ranvir and Sirat. Ranvir goes to Sirat and asks her to come out. Sirat says she is having a headache and doesn’t want to talk. Kartik comes there.
He tells Sirat that they are planning to sponsor a girls’ team, and wants Sirat’s face on it. Kartik says Goenka’s will sponsor the team, Ranvir will give the gloves and shoes from SSC and Sirat will be their inspiration. Ranvir says it’s a good idea. Kartik asks Sirat to sign the agreement. Sirat says she needs to focus on Nationals and cannot distract her mind with something else. Kartik says it’s okay and leaves.
Ranvir tells Sirat that Kartik is her good friend and had done a lot for her. He says that Kartik asked something from her and she rejected his offer. Sirat thinks that Kartik must be feeling bad, but she is feeling worse.
Kartik tells Manish that Sirat rejected their offer as she has to focus on her Nationals. Suvarna says Sirat has more responsibilities. Kartik gets upset and thinks Sirat lied to him about the honeymoon and also is trying to avoid him. Sirat asks Ranvir to come with her to Kartik’s house.
