The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Surekha looking at Kartik-Sirat and thinks why they are hesitating even after they married. Sikandar asks Kartik if he should leave. Kartik says he is leaving and Sirat can continue his practice. Sirat asks the coach to come at the same time and asks about his fees. Sikandar says it’s a bit expensive. Sirat asks how much she has to pay. Sikandar says he wants Sirat to win the trophy and wants to see Mukesh’s defeat, that will be his fee. Sikandar asks will she do it. Sirat agrees. Manish comes to Kartik. Kartik says that Sirat’s new coach has come and they are practising.
Manish tells Kartik that he will help Kartik to find out Ranvir’s truth and he wants to free his family from all the wrong accusations. Manish asks Kartik where they can start. Kartik says tomorrow he will meet Ranvir’s doctor and find out who exchanged Ranvir’s medical reports.
The next morning, Kartik asks Sirat to get ready while he will see Akshara. Sirat goes to get ready. Surekha sees Kairav sleeping in Kartik’s room. She goes to Kairav and asks if Kartik and Sirat sleep separately. Kairav talks in his sleep, he tells Surekha that they all sleep together but at night he has the habit of kicking, so Sirat sleeps on the floor and Kartik on the sofa. Surekha thinks there is something wrong.
Later, Kartik and Sirat go to meet the doctor and ask if he is aware of who changed Ranvir’s medical reports. The doctor says he doesn’t know. Kartik and Sirat leave. Kartik tells Sirat that they have to find out on their own. The doctor calls Chauhan and informs him about it. Chauhan asks the doctor to leave the country for few years. The doctor says he will leave by tomorrow.
The next day, everyone gets ready for the Rakshabandhan function. Kartik leaves to get a gift for Kirti. Sirat says she is unlucky and she did not even get a brother who will protect her. Gayu says Naksh has accepted her and she can tie Rakhi to Naksh. Naksh sends audio to Gayu saying that he and Kirti will not come to Goenka house as they are upset with Kartik for not informing him about his marriage. Sirat thinks she will not let any problems to come between Kartik, Naksh and Kirti due to her.
Sirat goes to Naksh’s office and tells him and Kirti that they are lying to their family about their marriage. Kirti says how will their family react when they will come to know about it, especially Kairav. Sirat says Kairav knows everything.
