The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Mr. Chauhan getting into his office. He finds his lighter and burns some paper. Sirat sees that and worries. Kartik asks Sirat to stay quiet. Sirat says Mr. Chauhan is burning the last report that was needed to prove her innocence. Kartik shows her the report and says Mr. Chauhan is burning some other papers as he exchanged his reports. Sirat asks Kartik how they will escape. Kartik says they have to wait. The lawyer calls Mr. Chauhan. Mr. Chauhan says the doctor gave him the last reports and now they will prove that Sirat killed Ranvir and punish her. Kirti talks to Kairav about Sirat. Kirti says Sirat told her everything and asks what Kairav feels. Kairav says he is upset but Naira asked him to stay strong and be happy with what he has. Surekha thinks about what they are talking about and asks Kirti about it. Kirti misguides her.
Meanwhile, Chauhan asks his lawyer to keep an eye on the doctor until he leaves the country. He says Kartik and Sirat should not get to meet the doctor. Manish calls Kartik. Kartik disconnects the call and sends him a text asking for help. A guard comes to Chauhan and says someone has come to meet him. Chauhan goes out and sees Manish and Akhilesh. He asks them what they are doing. Manish starts arguing with him.
Kartik and Sirat try to escape. Kartik is about to get hurt with a nail but Sirat puts her hand and saves Kartik. Sirat gets hurt. Manish and Akhilesh keep arguing with Chauhan. Kartik and Sirat succeed to escape. Akhilesh and Manish notice that and say that they got the proof and soon Chauhan will be exposed. Chauhan doubts them and goes back to his office. He thinks he burnt the wrong papers and recollects Saroj telling him that Sirat had come to meet her.
Later, Sirat and Kartik thank Manish for saving them. Sirat says they got the reports and now she will prove her and Kartik’s innocence. Dadi says now when everything is getting back to its place, so she wants to fix a thing. Dadi says she wants Sirat and Kartik to marry with all the rituals. Manish asks Sirat what happened to her hand. Kartik says Sirat saved him from getting hurt. Dadi asks Kartik to do Sirat’s dressing and come back.
Kartik does Sirat’s bandage. Sirat says in few days she will prove her innocence and then leave. Kairav looks at them and gets upset.
