The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik asking Sirat if anyone said something to her. Sirat says no but people can say. He says we all know she loves Kairav. Sirat says if we forgive him instantly it will be like we are encouraging him. We need to explain his mistake and he needs to ask forgiveness from his heart. Kartik asks how will they make him explain. Sirat says she wants to go and hug Kairav. Kartik says he wants to hug her and tells her she is the best mother for his kids. Sirat cries, Kairav sketches Sirat’s picture. Both Kairav and Sirat cry and do not have food. Kairav is writing a sorry note to Sirat. He asks for Kartik’s help in convincing Sirat to forgive him. Kartik asks why is he sorry. He says for bunking class and lying.
Kartik tells Kairav he just said sorry he should have said it from his heart. Sirat thinks it’s her fault and is punishing herself. Kairav says it’s his fault and not hers. Kartik tells him to apologise to her from his heart. Kartik goes to attend a call. Kairav prays to Ganesh Ji saying he has hurt him and his parents. He says he loves Sirat a lot and everyone praises her. He feels very proud but he has made her feel bad. Sirat listens to Kairav’s prayers and comes and hugs him. She says she will never leave him. Kairav apologises to her. Sirat says sorry for not talking to him and making him cry. Everyone comes, Kairav apologises to everyone. Vansh also apologises. Dadi says Sirat made the kids realise their mistake.
Sirat feeds Kairav, he feeds her as well. Kartik complains that they both forgot about him. Kairav feeds him too. The family proceeds to do aarti. Kairav rotates around Kartik and Sirat and says they are his world. He will never forget what they have taught him. Sirat and Kartik hug Kairav. Kartik says Sirat was worried about being blamed if Kairav got spoiled, so she is the one who should be praised for Kairav’s good behaviour. Later Sirat sees a baby, she tells Kartik there was a baby. Kartik says Ganesh Ji must have given her darshan. She says she really saw a baby. He says it must be a dream. He informs her about her coach’s message and she should start practising for the competition.
The next morning while practising boxing Sirat faints. The coach calls the doctor. The doctor tells her to not worry as he has taken a blood sample for checking. He tells her they will put her on multivitamins if there is vitamin deficiency. The coach tells her to take a day off. Sirat calls Kartik and informs him. She says she must be tired, so needs to rest. Dadi introduces Sirat to her friend Prabha. Prabha tells her about her family and how after Neha’s death they got her son Vinay married to Neha’s sister. She says they never thought Neha would forget Dhruv after getting her own son. Dhruv now cries a lot. Sirat asks how can she do this. Surekha says stepmom is stepmom. Sirat says it’s not necessary that stepmom is bad.
