The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik congratulating everyone. He tells Kairav that he wanted a baby sister and got it. Kairav says he wants Mumma also. The doctor comes out, Kartik asks if Sirat is fine. The doctor says she is fine but still unconscious. She says both mother and daughter are fighters, they have come back from death. Kartik says it’s because of everyone’s prayers. Suwarna says Sirat could reach here because of Kairav’s help. Kartik asks when can they meet Sirat. The doctor says you can meet your daughter but the next 24 hours are critical for her, and they hope everything goes well. Kartik and the family see the baby. Suwarna reminds them that doctor said that both are fighters. No one easily makes Sirat lose and she will come back to them soon. Kartik says she has to or else he will break down.
Manish tells Kartik to be strong. Kairav tells the baby that she is not weak as she is a champion’s daughter. Kairav prays that she gets better soon. The next morning Sirat wakes up and seeing everyone’s sad face, asks where is the baby. Kartik says that their baby is weak. Sirat tells them to take her to the baby. The doctor brings the baby and informs that the newborn specialist has seen all the reports and their daughter is fine. Sirat asks if they got a daughter, Kartik says yes. Sirat tells the doctor to give the baby to Kairav first as because of him they all are safe. Kartik tells Kairav to hold the baby carefully.
Kairav cries holding the baby, he says she is little and cute. Kartik and Sirat both hug the baby. Dadi wards off the bad sight. Gayu tells everyone they should celebrate. Dadi says they will go home and make preparations. Kartik tells Sirat that they both scared him today. He thought he might lose any one of them. Sirat says they will not leave him so early. They argue about what they should name their child. Kartik says she gave birth to her, so he will give identity to their daughter. Sirat and Kartik bring their daughter home. Dadi does their aarti, they are happy to see all the decorations.
Sirat asks for the baby’s name. Kartik tells them to close their eyes. Kartik brings big gift boxes. and asks them to open the boxes. They open the boxes and see the name Aarohi on the balloon. Everyone claps seeing the name. Sirat jokes that the name she decided was better. After a month we see that Sirat wakes up to Akshu and Aarohi crying. She says both of them wake up at the same time. Kartik says it’s just a matter of few years. They take care of both the kids and put them to sleep. Kartik says they look like angels, Sirat says they create a storm when they wake up. Kartik says they only want Mumma when he is the one who plays with them and changes their diapers. He says he will make them switch sides by bringing clothes and toys for them. Sirat tells him to buy clothes only for Akshu as Aarohi will wear Akshu’s clothes. She says she wants the kids to love each other, Kartik says they will.
