The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Dadi talking to Suwarna over the video call. She asks Suwarna to exchange the rings and complete the ritual. Rhea asks Ranvir to stop Sirat before it gets too late. Ranvir runs towards the banquet hall. Rhea gets happy that finally, Sirat will be out of Kartik’s life and Rhea will get married to Kartik.
Kartik and Sirat exchange the rings and complete their ritual. Ranvir sees Sirat getting engaged to Kartik. He sees that Sirat is happy with her engagement. Nani says she always wanted Sirat to marry someone like Kartik. Sirat says Nani had a crush on Kartik. Sirat says Nani likes Kartik being fair and chose him for her. Nani says Sirat is very lucky to get a life partner like Kartik.
Ranvir cries looking at Sirat. He recollects Nani warning him to stay away from Sirat and never show Sirat, his face. Kairav hugs Sirat and takes selfies with Sirat and Kartik. Ranvir leaves. Kairav sees Ranvir leaving and informs Kartik that his friend was here. Kartik says he had a flight to catch, yet he is here. Kartik says his friend must be having some work, he will check on his friend.
Kartik leaves behind Ranvir. Sirat follows Kartik.
Rhea tells Manish that she saw Ranvir. Suwarna asks who is Ranvir. Rhea says Ranvir is Sirat’s ex-boyfriend. Rhea asks if Sirat did not inform them. Suwarna says they don’t care about Sirat’s past and is sure that Sirat must have informed Kartik. Manish says the past will not create any problems until it comes in present.
Meanwhile, Kartik calls out Ranvir. Sirat hears Kartik calling Ranvir. Ranvir hides behind and cries. Sirat asks who is Ranvir. Kartik says he met Ranvir during Gangaur.
Sirat sees Ranvir leaving. Ranvir is heartbroken. He walks away thinking about Sirat and meets with an accident. Sirat goes to him and asks him to open his eyes. Kartik comes there. Sirat says he is Ranvir Chauhan. Kartik and Sirat take Ranvir to the hospital.
The nurse asks Kartik to fill the form and says they will need a family member’s sign. Kartik says they are Ranvir’s friends and signs the form. Sirat goes to check on Ranvir.
