The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Sirat crying and thinking about how she can get feelings for Kartik when she is already married to Ranvir. Sirat says Kartik is her friend and Ranvir is her husband. She thinks she has to focus on Ranvir and her relationship. Sirat thinks about how she can get close to a friend more than her husband. Nani asks Kartik where is Sirat. Kartik says Sirat was there and doesn’t know where she went. Kartik asks Nani if Sirat shared anything with her. Nani says no. Kartik says she will call Sirat and find out.
Ranvir comes there. Sirat says good that Ranvir has come. Ranvir asks her what is she doing outside the house. Sirat says she was waiting for Ranvir. Kartik comes there and asks Sirat where she was, he and Nani were looking for her. Sirat says she was waiting for Ranvir. Sirat says they are getting late and leaves with Ranvir. They return home. Sirat tells Ranvir that nothing wrong will happen, she will take care of everything. Ranvir asks Sirat to relax. Sirat thinks she needs some personal time with Ranvir and asks him if they can go on a date. Ranvir says Sirat has sprained her leg and cannot walk. Sirat says Ranvir is with her and she is strong, nothing can come between them.
The next day, Kairav tells Kartik that they are having an inter-house sports competition and he has registered for boxing. Kairav says his coach should also come with him. Kartik says his coach is busy and even Sirat will be busy, so he will go with Kairav. Kairav says he already gave Sirat’s name in his school. Kairav asks Kartik to call Sirat.
Sirat gets ready for her date. Ranvir compliments Sirat. Kartik calls Sirat. Sirat thinks she needs to focus on Ranvir and today she will not answer Kartik’s call. Kairav and Kartik try to call Sirat but she doesn’t answer. Kartik says he will go with Kairav. Sirat goes on a date with Ranvir. Kairav leaves a message to Sirat. Sirat gets a notification. Ranvir says today Sirat’s phone is coming between them. Sirat switches off the phone.
Later, Sirat asks Ranvir to call Nidhi and ask if she needs anything from the restaurant. Ranvir checks his phone and sees Kartik’s missed calls. He asks Sirat to check her phone. Sirat checks Kairav’s message and tells Ranvir that today is Kairav’s match and they need to reach Kairav’s school.
Kairav tells Kartik that his friends wanted to meet Sirat as she is the state-level champion. Kairav says Sirat did not come, so he doesn’t want to participate in the competition and goes to withdraw his name. Kartik gets disappointed with Sirat’s behavior. Sirat comes there and asks Kairav not to withdraw his name. Ranvir apologizes to Kartik and says their phone was unreachable. Kartik thinks Sirat’s phone was on and she even received the messages but still, she ignored them.
