The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik and Sirat arguing. Kartik says Kairav needs her. Sirat says now Kartik will make her stepmother, instead of duplicate.
Meanwhile, Rhea comes to Nani and asks where is Sirat. Nani says Rhea can tell her what is the matter. Rhea says Sirat is eyeing badly on Kartik. Nani says she will not tolerate any bad thing about Sirat.
Rhea says Sirat is coming between her and Kartik’s marriage. Rhea says she is quiet, but Manish won’t sit quietly.
Back into the boxing ring, Sirat tells Kartik that he is taking advantage of her. Kartik says he can never do such to Sirat nor Naira. Kartik says only 2 people are important for him, Naira and his son. Kartik says he already lost Naira and doesn’t want to lose his son.
Sirat says she doesn’t want to marry anyone. Kartik says Kairav has realized that Sirat is not his mother but also wants Sirat to stay around him. Kartik asks Sirat to think about Kairav and make a decision.
Meanwhile, Rhea sees Manish and starts her drama. Rhea says Kartik and Sirat and nowhere to be found. Suwarna asks Rhea not to worry. Rhea says she is worried if Kartik will take a step further and marry Sirat.
Manish says he will never talk to Kartik if he marries Sirat. Manish asks Suwarna to call Kartik and ask where he is.
Back to the boxing ring, Kartik says they can fake her marriage in front of everyone, Sirat will not have to marry him and he can live with Naira’s memories.
Sirat denies and leaves. Sirat returns to the outhouse and tells Nani that they won’t live there. Sirat says Kartik has done a lot for them, but she cannot marry Kartik.
Meanwhile, Kartik returns home. He apologizes to Manish for his rudeness. Kartik then apologizes to Rhea and says Manish misunderstood and thought about their marriage, but that will never happen.
Manish asks whom he will marry. Kartik says if he agrees to marry, it will be only for his kids. Kartik says for now he doesn’t want to marry anyone.
Later, Kairav goes to meet Sirat and hugs her.
