The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kairav going to Sirat and hugging her. Sirat worries and asks if anything is wrong. Dadi says Kairav wanted to be with Sirat, so she got him there.
Sirat says she will take Kairav out and give him ice cream. Sirat and Kairav go to eat ice cream. Sirat recollects Kartik telling her that Kairav has realized that Naira is no more and Sirat is not his mother. Sirat thinks Kairav must be thinking the same now.
Sirat asks Kairav if he wants to see her boxing videos. Kairav says no. Kairav hugs Sirat and asks Sirat to promise him that she will never go away. Sirat says she is living and cannot stay there. Kairav says Sirat is very important in their family.
Meanwhile, Dadi says she can do anything for Kairav. Dadi tells Nani that they should do something that can be better for Sirat as well as Kartik. Dadi says Nani has to convince Sirat to marry Kartik. Nani says she can try, but it’s on Sirat.
Dadi says she will convince Kartik anyhow. Dadi says Nani can act like she is not well and say that her last wish is to see Sirat and Kartik getting married. Nani says she will do as Dadi says.
Sirat and Kairav return to the outhouse. Dadi says Kairav wants to sleep with Sirat, so she will take a leave.
The next day, Kartik goes to wake Kairav in the outhouse. Kairav says he doesn’t want to go to school. Vansh comes and convinces Kairav.
Dadi signs Nani to start her acting. Nani holds her chest and falls on the bed. Sirat and Kartik worry. Dadi comes and asks if she got a heart attack. Nani says she thinks it’s her last moment.
Dadi asks Nani if she has any last wish. Nani says she wants Sirat to live a happy life, if she dies, Sirat will be left alone. Nani asks Kartik if he will take care of Sirat and marry her.
Kartik and Sirat stand shocked.
