The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik telling Sirat that Ranvir will be fine soon, as his treatment is on. Manish says that he was aware that Sirat will take such a step. Nani asks Manish not to talk bad about Sirat if he doesn’t know the whole truth. Manish asks Nani to tell the whole truth. Nani says Sirat loved Ranvir and wanted to marry him. Ranvir promised Sirat that he will marry her. Sirat was waiting for Ranvir on the wedding day, but Ranvir did not come, he left her and never showed his face. Nani says Sirat took a lot of time to cover her wounds and prepare herself to marry Kartik, but Ranvir has come to spoil her life again. Nani cries and tells God that Sirat has faced a lot, she deserves a better life. Nani tells Manish that Sirat has removed Ranvir from her life.
Meanwhile, Sirat punches the wall in anger. Kartik asks Sirat to stay strong and she has to help Ranvir to recover. Sirat hugs Kartik and says she will not be able to face Ranvir. The doctor comes and informs Kartik that Ranvir is stable and they can meet him. Sirat waits outside Ranvir’s room. Kartik asks Sirat to go inside. Sirat says she doesn’t want to meet Ranvir, does not want to see his face again. Kartik calls Manish and apologizes for leaving without informing. Kartik says it was an emergency, he will return and talk to them. Manish waits for Kartik to return.
Rhea tells Suwarna that Sirat loves Ranvir and she won’t return. Suwarna worries and says if Sirat won’t return then how they will handle Kairav. Sirat returns to the hotel. She goes to Nani and says that she has come and will never leave her. Sirat asks Nani to drink water. Suwarna asks Sirat where she went without informing, who is Ranvir, why she is meeting him and if she loves Ranvir, then why she is marrying Kartik. Sirat says she will answer all the questions. She says that she was in the hospital, as someone she knows, met with an accident. Rhea says that someone is Sirat’s ex-boyfriend and the whole family knows about it. Sirat says she loved him, but now she has moved on. Sirat says she did not meet Ranvir from the day he left her, but today he met with an accident, so as a human being she and Kartik took him to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the Doctor tells Kartik that he found a bullet lodged in Ranvir’s chest. He says that the mark is very old and the bullet has left small fragments, which are pressing some important nerves and can be dangerous. The doctor says they have to do an operation and will need the family’s permission. Chandan comes to the hospital and asks for Ranvir. Kartik asks Chandan to take care of Ranvir and complete the operation process.
On the other hand, Sirat blindfolds herself and removes her anger on the punching bags. Kartik comes to her and opens her blindfold. Kartik says the truth won’t change if Sirat will close her eyes. Sirat says she doesn’t want to know, as she doesn’t care.
