The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik trying to make some joke and calm Sirat’s anger. Sirat says she was practising her boxing and Ranvir did not have to interfere. Sirat then says that she is feeling bad as she fought with Ranvir. Kartik says Sirat should not feel bad. Sirat asks Kartik on whose side he is, Sirat’s or Ranvir’s. Kartik says both are not on different sides. Sirat asks Kartik to convince Ranvir. Kartik asks Sirat to convince Ranvir by herself and not let any third person come in between them. Sirat says she needs to talk to Ranvir and explain to him that a lot of things have changed in 2 years.
Suwarna, Surekha, Gayu wash some pots. Nani asks them what they are doing. Suwarna says they have an important pooja today. Surekha says only married women can do the pooja. Gayu says the girls who are getting married can also do the pooja. Suwarna says they have to decorate the pot, light diyas and pray for their husband. Gayu says they can sing, dance and enjoy food too. Suwarna says they should call Sirat and she can keep fast for Ranvir. Nani says Sirat is not there and will not come. Surekha says it’s a family pooja and Sirat is not their family member. Suwarna says Sirat is also their family member, even if she is marrying someone else. Kairav says Sirat will always be his Sirat even if she marries Ranvir.
Meanwhile, Kartik asks Sirat to talk to Ranvir. Sirat gets an invitation message from Suwarna. Sirat says Suwarna has invited her and Ranvir for pooja and worries if Ranvir will come. Kartik asks Sirat to go and he will get Ranvir. Sirat leaves. Kartik goes to Ranvir. Ranvir is sleeping on the bike. He asks Kartik why Sirat did not come. Kartik asks Ranvir to come with him as they are having a pooja. Kartik explains to Ranvir that couples always argue, but they should talk and sort out things. Ranvir agrees to go with Kartik.
On the other hand, Sirat gets ready for pooja. Suwarna says Ranvir will be impressed seeing Sirat. Sirat waits for Ranvir to come. Ranvir asks Kartik why he made Ranvir wear a new kurta. Kartik asks Ranvir to have patience. Kartik drives roughly. Ranvir asks Kartik to be careful.
Yellow cloth which Sirat tied in her pot falls. Sirat goes to pick it but it tears. Kartik and Ranvir meet with an accident.
