The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Nani going to meet Sirat. She asks Sirat if she is fine. Sirat says she is fine, her foot is better and will get proper in few days. Nani says if Sirat is okay. Sirat says she is fine. Nani says she has raised Sirat and very well knows that her heart is in pain more than her foot. Sirat says she is fine and look away. Nani says why Sirat is stammering and not even talking to her looking into her eyes. Nani says Sirat is ignoring Kartik and she called her during the conference and not Kartik. Nani says Sirat came to her wedding wounded after her fight but did not come to the meeting just because she sprained her leg. Nani says it’s too late now, Sirat realised her feelings very late. Nani says Ranvir took a bullet for Sirat and married him as a favour, just cause he took a bullet for her. Sirat says Nani doesn’t know what she is saying.
Sirat messages Kartik that Nani is with her. She tells Nani that she is happy with Ranvir and asks Nani to return home. Mr. Chauhan hears their conversation. He thinks Sirat was never good for Ranvir, but Ranvir did not believe him. He thinks that he will make Sirat confess and then Ranvir has to believe Sirat that she doesn’t love Ranvir. Kartik asks Nani if everything is alright. Nani says Sirat is worried as she is with a new family and will take time to settle.
The next day, Kartik gets happy sees Sirat’s interview printed in the newspaper. Sirat clicks a pic of it and sends it to Kartik and says thank you. Saroj calls Kartik and invites him and his family for dinner. Mr. Chauhan says Sirat was staying with Kartik so they should thank them. Kartik tells Manish about it. Manish says he doesn’t want to see Mr. Chauhan’s face and will not go. Kartik says he is going to meet Sirat and Ranvir.
Saroj says she will prepare a dinner. Mr. Chauhan asks Saroj not to tell Sirat and Ranvir about it. Saroj makes sweets and asks Sirat to take them. She asks Sirat what Goenka’s like the most. Sirat worries and thinks why is Saroj asking her about Goenka’s. Nani thinks Saroj called Kartik and his family for dinner which means Sirat is showing courage to face Kartik.
