The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik telling Sirat he will take a cottage there so that they can rest for a while and also can romance. Kartik and Sirat get romantic and dance. Manish worries about that and tells Suwarna that Kartik should have not taken Kairav and Akshara with them. Suwarna says Kairav-Akshara are Kartik and Sirat’s kids and can take care of them. Manish says they are not Sirat’s kids. Suwarna gets emotional and questions Manish if Kartik and Kirti are not her kids. Manish apologises to Suwarna and says he does not mean that. He asks Suwarna not to compare herself with Sirat. Manish says he knows what Sirat’s teachings are and cannot trust her.
Suwarna says Manish has decided that he will not give a chance to Sirat. Manish says he doesn’t have any problem with 2nd marriage, he has a problem with Sirat, what if she turns out to be like her mother. Kartik asks Sirat not to leave, they will fight all the problems together. Sirat agrees. Kartik says there is a beautiful location and they should go and take some pics. Kartik clicks Sirat’s pics. Sirat sees Naira in the mirror and recollects Sheela’s words. She gets sad and leaves.
The next day, Kartik wakes up and thinks he got up very late. He thinks is getting irresponsible towards his kids. Kartik goes to check if Kairav got ready or not. He sees Sirat feeding Akshara and Kairav ready with his school uniform on. Kairav leaves. Kartik asks Sirat why she did not wake him. Sirat says Kairav was tired. He says he was driving and did not climb Mountains to get tired.
Later, Surekha says she got up late, so she and Suwarna go into the kitchen. They see Gayu and Sirat cooking. Suwarna gets happy and appropriates them. Gayu says Sirat did all of it and gave tea to Dadi too. Dadi says she loved the tea. Dadi says Sirat made tea as Naira used to make and gave her shagun. Sirat gets happy.
Sirat goes to Kartik and hugs him. Kartik asks Sirat to get ready as they need to go to her boxing photoshoot. Sirat asks Kartik if he is coming with her. Kartik says yes. Sirat asks what about his meeting. Manish waits for Kartik to come as they have a meeting to attend and hope Sirat doesn’t stop him. Suwarna says Sirat will not stop him. Kartik comes to Manish and says they can go.
Sirat also gets ready and is about to leave. She sees Dadi and her friends coming. Dadi introduces Sirat to everyone. Sirat thinks now she cannot leave and Kartik will be waiting there for her.
