Today’s Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke 09 August episode starts with Meenakshi arriving at the Maheshwari house for Kunal’s Mehendi function. Mishti (Rhea Sharma) was upset with Meenakshi’s demand of sabotaging the function. Mishti came in the hall to give everyone a surprise. Ananya came in the hall which made everyone happy.
Rajshri introduced Meenakshi to Ananya and Meenakshi asked if she was Kuhu’s real sister. The Mehendi function started and Mishti was worried. Abir (Shaheer Shaikh) asked her the reason for her being stressed out. He said he would wait for another two days and then he would himself reveal their relationship to everyone. Everybody danced enjoying the Mehendi function on the beats of a popular song.
Abir tried to give a trailer of his big announcement in front of everyone through song lyrics. Meenakshi put Mehendi on Kuhu’s hand and Mishti was scared that she had to reveal about Varsha not being Kuhu’s mother. When Varsha was about to put Mehendi on Kuhu’s hand, Mishti stopped her. She was about to say something but the video of drunken Nidhi started playing on Abir’s phone.
Abir followed Mishti in her room and told her she had only two days to reveal her feelings. Meenakshi threatened Mishti and said whatever happened in Kuhu’s life would be only being blamed on her.
