Today’s Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke 16 August episode starts with Abir (Shaheer Sheikh) announcing to commence the celebration of Kunal’s wedding. Mishti (Rhea Sharma) was packing her bags to leave for Mumbai. She wondered if Abir would make everything right.
Kunal wondered why he was getting ready for the marriage. Atul took Kunal’s phone and Kunal got upset with his actions. He further slapped Atul for sending a message and the plate in Parul’s hand fell down the stairs.
Abir got upset with Kunal’s reaction while Kuhu was delighted to receive ‘I Love You’ text from Kunal. Abir demanded Kunal to apologize to Atul. Mishti was leaving for the airport but decided to call Meenakshi. She warned her that god was watching her wrong deeds.
Meenakshi told Kunal to take his bag and leave as soon as possible. Abir wondered why Mishti didn’t try and talk to him. He got a call from Mishti and got distracted while Kunal and Meenakshi left.
