Today’s Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai 06 August episode begins with Vanita informing Sameer (Randeep Rai) that the deal was almost finalised. The formalities would be over in 2 days and to keep the money ready. Registry would happen with the final payment. They will be our permanent neighbour. Sameer assured her about the payment and thanked her. She left. Pundit called Sameer. Sameer noticed sadness in his voice. Pundit shared that Mama ji incurred a big loss in business. He was neck deep in debt. He had gone to Mumbai with Poonam Bhabhi to meet a relative. Sameer thought of meeting him once. He wouldn’t have been here if he hadn’t done all that. He cannot do wrong just because he did wrong with him. Find out where he was in Mumbai. Pundit told him he had a big heart.
Sameer shared that he was going to become a Chacha. Pundit jumped in excitement. He will come to Mumbai right away. He dropped the plan thinking of Nirmala ji. Sameer reminded him to find out about Mama ji. They ended the call. Sameer thought to inform Naina but she wasn’t quite well. He told her to take care. It wasn’t easy to become a mother. She had to take care of herself. Naina asked him to feed her with his own hands. He agreed. What would their baby think seeing them like that. She didn’t mind. She ended up finding her episode’s ending while saying a dialogue. He called her mad. Preeti ordered grocery leaving Shubham shocked. He started hiccupping. She told him to hold his hiccups. She had to order more. This time Nirmala ji told her son to lock his economics somewhere. She told Preeti to order whatever she wanted. Preeti said she ordered everything. She just wanted to go out for a while now. She asks Shubham who says no but Nirmala ji told him to take Preeti out once a week. They should take taxi. Shubham gave in against his wish. Nirmala ji told him to keep Preeti happy so her grandson was born beautiful and happy. It was his demands. Shubham wondered what the baby will be do when it was born. Preeti said his economics will be shaken. Shubham ordered a tub of Preeti’s favourite ice cream. Rakesh wasn’t happy hearing that Naina had invited Sameer’s Mama ji. They ruined everything. Naina said it was fate. They came here because of whatever happened.
Rakesh said he maybe great but he was not. Don’t tell them about the baby or it would have bad effects on the baby. Naina told him not to say so. Doorbell rang. Rakesh opened the door. Mama ji’s taunted flash before his eyes in a second. Sameer took his Mama ji and Poonam inside. Poonam and Naina exchanged pleasantries. Mama ji looked at Sameer’s house and his own words echo in his head. Naina touched Mama ji’s feet but Rakesh asked her why she was bending down. Mama ji told Rakesh he was right. We hadn’t done anything right to bless anyone. Sameer denied. Naina was pregnant so Papa ji told her not to bend down. Mama ji and Poonam congratulated Sameer and Naina. Sameer repeated how Mama ji had chosen a baby name (Ilaka) for his kid in the past. They all smiled at the memory. Mama ji only had Rs. 103 in his pocket. He offered Rs. 11 to Naina as shagun. This was all that he can give right now. Rakesh said it wasn’t needed.
Naina told him to stop. They didn’t want anything. Rakesh said he used to carry everything with him in the past. How come he had only Rs. 101 in his pocket today. They must look after our special guests. Mama ji said they didn’t know it or they would have brought gifts for sure. Sameer dismissed the idea. Naina scolded Sameer for making everyone stand like that. The all sat down. Poonam was glad to see her scold Sameer again. It was good though. Everyone smiled. Naina told Mama ji she had made his favourite meal today. Mama ji was reminded of her Dal Bhati Choorma. She looked at his expressions. She made good food now. She served food to them. Rakesh brought silver glasses for Mama ji and Poonam. He taunted them again. It was due to Naina and Sameer’s hard work. They had toiled so hard that they could afford to eat in silverware. Naina tried to stop him but Rakesh said he was speaking casually. The house was smaller than Ahmedabad but this was how it was in Mumbai. They can think of it as their own.
