Pratik Gandhi is a known name in the entertainment industry today. He has been very notable in terms of his acting. His portrayal of the stockbroker Harshad Mehta for the Sony LIV biopic web series Scam 1992 has made him a household name.
He ventured out as a theater actor and was part of several plays on stage. From appearing in several Bollywood projects and Dhollywood films, the actor has always said that his first love shall always be “Theater” Born in Surat, Pratik when young worked in a theatre group in the evening while he worked as an engineer in the morning. He has been part of the Gujarati play Aa Paar Ke Pele Paar which gave him the first taste of theatre success.
He went on to be an active part of Gujarati theatre with noteworthy roles in Mere Piya Gaye Rangoon, Hu Chandrakant Bakshi as well as Ame Badha Sathe To Duniya Laiye Mathe. His roles in all the plays were extremely noteworthy. He played a lead role in his next Wrong Side Raju (2016), which also became commercially and critically successful.
