There have been several iconic names in the Indian theatre world ever since it first emerged. Today we’re here to tell you more about one such name that stands out from the rest, Quasar Thakore.

Quasar Thakore’s Gift To Theatre

We have seen many artists grow up with a passion for theatre and turn out to be great artists in the field. But once such famous persona that sticks out from the rest to us is Quasar Thakore. The artist was born on the 20th of August in the year 1978 and has been a blessing to the theatre world. He completed his education at the St. Xavier’s college in Mumbai where he studied English Literature. His parents are Dolly Thakore and Alyque Padamsee which are two of the most massive names in the Indian theatre world and he too seems to be following his parents’ footsteps just right.

Quasar went on to start his own theatre productions company called QTP. And since the year 1999 he only seems to be soaring higher. The artist, with his own company has produced and directed over 20 full act plays. He has also worked as a lighting director and a stage manager. It seems completely far to call him an all rounder in the theatre world. His years of learning and expertise in the field are very eminent in the quality of work he puts forward. He has been an assistant director to the world famous play Midsummer Night’s Dream. He has also directed some plays which were sensational not only across the country but also the globe such as All My Sons, Acid and Minorities.
